In den Werken „about rhythm and space“ möchte ich den Raum erforschen. Die Anordnungen der Porphyr-Kuben schaffen

eine Rhythmisierung und stehen in Bezug zueinander.

Mit bewussten Eingriffen ins Material schaffe ich Raum und Lichteinfall. Die Arbeiten wirken amorph und archaisch zugleich.

Sie besitzen eine Analogie zur Architektur.

Ob im Erschaffen einer Skulptur oder in Rauminstallationen es sind die kleinen, ja teils unscheinbaren Gesten, welche mich

interessieren und berühren.

In the pieces "about rhythm and space" I wish to explore space. The arrangements of porphyry cubes create a rhythmisation and stand in relation to each other.

I create space and incidence of light with deliberate interventions in the material. The works have a simultaneously amorphous and archaic effect.

They possess an analogy with architecture.

Be it the creation of a sculpture or when producing room installations, it is the small and indeed sometimes inconspicuous gestures that interest and move me.
